Crothersville has just started WCCS NEWS where students present the daily announcements. This opportunity is assisting in a more positive school climate, fewer incidents of bullying, fewer discipline referrals, improved teacher morale, more focus on issues of character and increased social-emotional competencies. This is also designed to address standards like public speaking; our Mission, Vision and Purpose; science; reading and math. When kids do the announcements, communication is more effective because students are then taking ownership of everything.

It has been an amazing year and an amazing journey for our seniors at Crothersville. They have put in years of hard work, and as a result, their futures are coming together before their eyes. Some have been accepted to colleges across the country, some are pursuing a specific vocation while others are taking advantage of community college.

We will come together as a community to celebrate these students’ accomplishments together at our annual graduation ceremony on May 22, 2021, at 8 p.m.
