High School Adds 3D Printer
Thanks to a suggestion by student Noah Hoskins, a member of the Class of 2018, Crothersville Jr.-Sr. High School will have a 3D printer. After Noah informed one of his teachers how great it would be for the school to have a 3D printer, teacher Linda Meyers applied for and received an EcO Network STEM/Manufacturing Grant. At Crothersville, teachers value their students’ suggestions.
The Monoprice Mini Select 3D Printer will benefit students interested in a variety of STEM-related areas, especially engineering. It will also benefit the Crothersville robotics program, which can use the printer to help add parts and possibly functions to its robots.
Students at both the middle school and high school will have access to the printer with some supervision.
